Here are a few photos from today's open house at The Gentle Barn, which was my first visit there. (Click on the photos to see full-size.) What an amazing place! I really admire Ellie, Jay and the many people who work and volunteer for this organization for the important work they do for the animals and for children. More of my photos can be seen at Picasa.
It takes a lot of people and costs a lot of money to keep this program going, so I invite you visit the website and donate what you can or identify another way you can support their work (they have some cool stuff in their online store). Weather permitting, they have an open house every Sunday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. It's well worth the time, so get out there and hug a cow. Or a horse. Or a pig. And have some great vegan BBQ.
